DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 27 (MExN): The NBCC Sanitation & Environment Committee comprising of members from various departments and organizations such as the UDD, PHED, KMC, KCCI, KVC, AYO & KVYO is undertaking a joint venture on beautification of Kohima City. The Committee has placed large sized flower pots with exotic flowers at 12(twelve) selected traffic points/ islands in and around the capital city since the first week of December. However, a press note from Elizabeth Ngully, Chief Executive Officer, KMC, & Member Secretary, NBCC Sanitation & Environment Committee has termed as unfortunate and sad that the flower pots are being lifted and stolen from the said locations. “The Committee is putting all its effort to beautify the capital city and anticipates co-operation from the general public”, stated the press note. The NBCC Sanitation & Environment Committee appealed to each and every right thinking individual to fully assist and support the beautification drive for a beautiful and clean Kohima.
