KOHIMA, JULY 2 (MExN): The Youth Department of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCCYD) will observe Youth Prayer Day on July 5 and 6 under the theme “From Believer to Disciple” (John 8:31–38), the council announced on Wednesday.
The two-day programme will begin with a session of united prayer and fasting on July 5, from 6:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Young people from across the state and various cities under the Nagaland Christian Fellowship (NCF) Ministry are expected to participate in seeking spiritual renewal and a deeper commitment to faith.
On July 6, the observance will include the launch of the Sports and Scripture Engagement (SSE) Fun and Discovery Book, a devotional resource designed to help youth engage with Scripture through experiential activities.
In a press release, Rev N. Suhuto Chishi, NBCC Youth Secretary, has invited all youth members to participate in the event, expressing hope that it will serve as a time of transformation and discipleship.
