
Kohima, April 28 (MExN): The Youth Department, Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) has expressed sadness and pain over the demise of Rev. Aheto Sema, Youth Secretary, WSBAK.
“The news (of his demise) saddened us because he has left us too early at his prime life. Many of his dreams and vision remain unfulfilled,” stated a condolence message from Rev. Vikuo Rhi, NBCC Youth Secretary. He described Rev. Aheto as “a very humble man with gentle heart, sincere, fully dedicated and committed for the ministry of the Lord, and a man of integrity.”
It was informed that Aheto served as member of the Youth Board, NBCC representing WSBAK since 2016 till his demise. He was also a member of a new book project committee called ‘A Handbook on Doing Youth Ministry in Nagaland’, which is yet to finish.
“Today, the NBCC Youth in particular and Church in general have lost a dynamic spiritual leader,” the message read. On behalf of the NBCC Youth Department, Rev. Vikuo conveyed condolences to Aheto’s wife Inakali and their three children.
