Kohima, March 23 (MExN): The Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) Youth Department hosted a youth board meeting and skill up training at NBCC HQ Kohima on March 22 and 23.
The initiative called ‘Sport and Scripture Engagement’ was launched by Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary, NBCC, under the leadership of Rev N Suhuto Chishi, Youth Secretary and Dr Viposa Kiso, Convener.
The event was attended by youth leaders who were enlightened on various topics to disciple and build up young people through sports and Bible teachings, stated a press release issued by Rev Suhuto Chishi, Youth Secretary NBCC.
Dr Joshua Lorin, Principal, OTS spoke on Baptist Distinctive; Neichute Doulo, Founder & CEO of Entrepreneurs Associates spoke on Trees for Wealth; Dr Lovika P Shikhu, Asst. Prof, NU spoke on the impact of mobile game addiction and social media among young people. Wichampau Nchang gave a response on Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho’s book on ‘A Simple Guide to Dealing with Cult & Heresy.’
Meanwhile, Rev Suhuto reiterated the ‘youth department’s commitment to nurturing and empowering young people to become better Christians and citizens.’
