NBCCYD reaching out through campus ministry

Dimapur, June 8 (MExN): The Nagaland Baptist Church Council, Youth Department (NBCCYD) has a humble ministry which caters to the needs of the young people in the colleges with a special focus on the transient students who are in Kohima away from their parents and mother-church. A press note received here stated that it emphasizes on teaching, discipleship making and fellowship by reaching out to students in different locality and colleges.
As a part this ministry to students, The NBCCYD in collaboration with the Baptist College has organized a mini- concert with the band “Doubting Thomas” on June 8 at 11:00 A.M at Ura Academy Kohima. This was organized under the initiative Sentiyabang, Youth Coordinator, NBCC with an objective to reach out to the students with a message of the love God.
Kedo Peseyie, Chaplian of Baptist College gave a brief introductory speech and invocation by Iringtie Kauring, Youth Secretary, NBCC. The band presented six songs and Rebecca gave a challenge to the students to acknowledge their Creator while they are young followed Sentiyabang presented the story with which portrayed a message to prioritize Jesus in the midst of many illusions.
