Kohima, June 27 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed all the Heads of Registered Institutions and students with disabilities that the Health & Family Welfare Department is designated as the competent authority for issue of Disability Certificate for all purposes of employment, education and availing of all provisions given to Persons with Disabilities.
The notification has been issued as per the Office Memorandum issued by the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department (Administrative Reforms Branch), Nagaland, Kohima, Letter No.AR-3/GEN-9/97(Vol-II) dated Kohima, the June 7, 2023.
All Heads of Registered Institutions have been requested to note and guide the students with disabilities to obtain the Disability Certificate from the Competent Authority only, for submission to the Board for availing of provisions/exemptions in examinations conducted by NBSE.
