Kohima, May 26 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified all the registered Heads of Institutions that the International Cyber Olympiad (ICO) is organising the “International Cyber Olympiad 2024” for students of Class 1 to 10.
A DIPR report stated that ICO is a competition that tests students’ knowledge and skills in computer science and also spreads awareness about the safe use of the internet and cyber security. “It is a great opportunity for students to showcase their talent, compete with their peers on a global level and receive recognition for their achievements.”
The Cyber Olympiad is based on the National Curriculum Framework for School Education developed by NCERT. All the questions given in the question paper will be of multiple choice questions (MCQs).
Important dates:
I Round (School Level) (For Classes 1-10) - Available Exam dates- August, September, October and November; Last date to register-15 days before the exam date
II Round (International Level) (Only for Classes 3-10)-Date and Examination center to be notified at appropriate time
Mock test will be held in the month of July. To participate in the mock test, register before June 30.
