KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 5 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education has issued an information of all Heads of Higher Secondary Schools in Dimapur district having Science stream that the Board is organizing a Seminar-cum-Interaction programme on “Inculcating the Scientific temper as a way of Life” for the students of Class XI (Eleven) Science stream on November 14 at Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Dimapur.
The programme is organized to coincide with Children’s Day, aiming to encourage and promote Science Education in line with NEP 2020, which envisions an education system centered on enquiry-based, discovery-based and activity-based learning approaches, a DIPR report stated.
The resource person for the programme is Professor Shalabh, Department of Statistics and Dean of Academic Affairs, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
All Heads of higher secondary institutions having Science stream have been requested to inform all Class XI (Eleven) science students and respective teachers to participate in the event positively.
