NBSE Q Papers leaked: Exams reset

Dimapur, November 19 (MExN): A set of question papers for NBSE class VIII and IX promotion examinations have been ‘lost’ and for this, ESL (Class 8) and Class 9 Promotion Examinations 2007 are postponed. The reschedule is due to the “reported loss of the confidential packets after collection from the Board’s Office” by Green River Valley School of Changtongya, stated a notice from NBSE chairman Nini Meru. 

The examinations shall be held from December 10 to the 15th, 2007 and detailed programme to this effect has been being published separately (see advertisements). Examinations of other classes is not be affected by the change in schedule of classes VIII and IX examinations.

Heads of all registered schools/centres are directed to return unopened the confidential packets collected earlier, and fresh packets be obtained for the rescheduled examinations. The date of collection for the packets from the board’s office is fixed on December 6 and the 7th. The packets shall be issued only to the head of the institution or the vice principal/assistant headmaster who must be duly authorized by the head, the NBSE directed.

As an immediate penal action, the examination centre for Green River Valley School, Changtongya is cancelled. Its students shall appear the examination from Government High School, Changtongya, the NBSE added.
