DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 3 (MExN): The NCC A-Certificate Examination 2025 was successfully conducted today across various locations in Nagaland, including Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung, and Sainik School Pungalwa. The examination was organized by the NCC Group, Kohima, and saw active participation from 896 Junior Division/Junior Wings cadets from across the state.

The examination is a key milestone for the cadets, assessing their knowledge and proficiency in key NCC areas, including training, drill, map reading, and more. According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Defence’s PRO & Spokesperson for Manipur, Nagaland, and Southern Arunachal Pradesh, the cadets demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm, discipline, and dedication as they prepared for and participated in the exam.

Brigadier Shantanu P Mainkar, Group Commander of NCC Kohima, visited the Don Bosco Higher Secondary School in Kohima to inspect the proceedings. He expressed his appreciation for the cadets’ commitment and encouraged them to uphold the core ideals of the NCC—Unity and Discipline. Officials from other NCC units also visited different locations to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examination.

The successful completion of this examination will grant cadets the prestigious A-Certificate, a significant achievement in their NCC journey. The results will be announced in the coming weeks, and those who pass will gain recognition that may aid them in various academic and career pursuits.
