Kohima, September 27 (MExN): CUO Deepak Das of 1 Nagaland Air Squadron NCC, Dimapur, a student of Kohima Science College has joined the select lot of the best NCC cadets to represent the nation and the state of Nagaland in a Youth Exchange Programme with Kazakhstan from September 24 to October 13.
“It is matter of pride for this outstanding cadet who with his excellent military bearing and exceptional leadership qualities has always been at the forefront of all NCC activities,” stated a press release from Lt Col Sumit Sharma, PRO (Def).
He represented North East Region NCC Directorate in the Republic Day Camp in Delhi on January this year, where he was selected for the Youth Exchange Programme. CUO Deepak Das wants to pursue his childhood dream and aspires to join the Armed Forces, the release added.
