Dimapur, November 6 (MExN): Nagaland Independent (I) Sainik School Company NCC felicitated Care Taker Officers, Keshav Adhikary Chhetry, Haokholen and Vijayakumar Patel on November 6 for their service in Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-72) held recently.
The ceremony was graced by Officer Commanding NL (I) Sainik School Coy NCC. Speaking on the occasion, Officer Commanding commended the enthusiastic participation of the NCC Officers and PI Staff in all the activities.
A press release stated that ANO Sunil Kumar joined the camp after completing his 75 days Training at OTA Kamptee. NCC Officers imparted basic knowledge of Weapon Training, Firing, Disaster Management, Service Subjects, Tent Pitching, Fire Fighting, Skill development, Prevention of Road and Rail Accidents, First Aid etc.
Conduct of various activities like Drill, Volleyball, Basketball and Theme Area competition were the other highlights of the Training.
ANO Sunil Kumar was also felicitated by Maj Gen KJS Rathore, Commandant NCC OTA, Kamptee for his valuable contribution in Training activities. The Sainik School also congratulated him on his remarkable achievement of becoming a Lieutenant in the Senior Division NCC, Army wing.
