NCC partners with G Rio School for ‘Start-up India’

Kohima, January 16 (MExN): Around 300 NCC cadets from various schools and colleges of Kohima congregated at the G Rio School to participate in the launch of the Govt of India initiative “Start up India” campaign on January 16.   The event was aimed at celebrating the entrepreneurship spirit of the country involving the young generation across the length and breadth of the India, a press note from Lt Col Emron Musavi, PRO (Def), Kohima informed.   The activities included live telecast of the opening ceremony by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley till the closing remarks made by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it added.

  After the telecast, the cadets organised a discussion moderated by Kevino Savino the Principal of the school, the PRO added.   Brig MS Nikam Group Commander NCC Kohima while extending gratitude to the school management for allowing the event inside its premise said he was impressed by the quality of discussion which generated in the brain storming session.   He also exhorted exalted the cadets to carry the central theme in their hearts and let hard work creativity and entrepreneurship make the definite change in them individually and Naga society at large.
