Chümoukedima, April 13 (MExN): The 25 NL Battalion NCC unit of St Joseph University, Chümoukedima, organised a welcome ceremony at the University Seminar Hall on April 10 to honour Dr Marsosang on the completion of his Associate NCC Officer (ANO) training.
The programme commenced with an invocation led by CPL Chaukali, followed by the National Anthem presented by NCC cadets.
JUO Imtiyala delivered the welcome address, highlighting the significance of the occasion and expressing gratitude to the university management and faculty for their continued support.
A felicitation ceremony was conducted by Rev Fr Dr Anish, PRO, in which Dr Marsosang was honoured for his dedication and achievement. Addressing the gathering, Dr Marsosang shared his training experiences and urged cadets to uphold discipline, commitment, and the true spirit of the NCC.
The event also featured a performance of the NCC song by the cadets. The ceremony concluded with a closing prayer led by CPL Shonmei.
The event was compered by Sgt Rohit and was attended by university authorities, faculty members, and NCC cadets.
