Some of the guest and others with the praise and worship team during the Naga Christian Fellowship Chennai (NCFC) annual praise and worship programme ‘Rejoice’ held on October 15.
Dimapur, October 16 (MExN): The Naga Christian Fellowship Chennai (NCFC) organised its annual praise and worship programme ‘Rejoice’ on October 15 at CSI St. Matthias Church with the theme ‘We Speak Life’.
The programme began with a word of encouragement and prayer by the former Chief Secretary of Nagaland CJ Ponraj, IAS (Retd).
The NCFC praise and worship team led the congregation with various contemporary songs and music. Meanwhile, the special guest SJ Chiru, IAS, Commissioner Agricultural Marketing and Agri Business Chennai exhorted the gathering from his personal experiences and said “stay focused on your goals despite all circumstances in life”.
The word of God was shared by Pastor Wapangtoshi who enlightens the congregation by saying “music always occupied a place of importance in the worship of God’s people”.
Earlier, people from all walks of life relished the Naga Food Fest at the church premises. The programme ended with a closing prayer by Benjamin Karunakaran, IA & AS, Deputy Accountant General (Audit) Nagaland.
