Tuensang, May 5 (MExN): Former NCP candidate of 54 Tuensang Sadar II assembly constituency, H Zungkum Chang along with NCP office bearers and village unit party workers of the constituency have joined the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) en bloc, according to a press release.
A declaration function to this effect was organized by the NDPP Tuensang region on May 3 at Youth Hall, Chongpho Khel, Tuensang Village coinciding with the NDPP Region Tour Group visit.
NDPP CEB Region Tour Group leader, ex-MLA and Vice President Kakheho Sukhalu delivered a brief congratulatory speech at the function. He congratulated Zungkum Chang and all former leaders of the NCP, 54 Tuensang Sadar II A/C. Stating that NDPP is strictly a cadre based political party, he encouraged them to get themselves enrolled at the earliest possible time and assured them of all possible help based on justice and transparency, the release added.
