Dimapur, May 22 (MExN): NCRC (Sumi) women department organized an exclusive programme “I still do” built around the dynamic theme “Keeping the promise till death do us part” on May 21 at IMC hall, Dimapur. A press note stated that Dr.Kiyeho Yeptho centered his speech basically on the word of God from the book of Genesis, in the Garden of Eden. Pastor Yehoto Swu on the other hand, sharing on ‘Keeping the promise till death do us part’ brought in current updates on the alarming divorce rates with marital infidelity being one of the major cause leading to such splits.
The speakers aimed at pointing the hearts of the married couples back to the meaning of marriage with God as the institutor, the bonding force and the one who joins a man and a woman together to a lifetime covenant. Er.Hutoi and his wife, Omekali V Chishi and Inakali T Kiba graced the occasion with their beautiful, melodious voices.
