Kohima, November 3 (DIPR): Nagaland Civil Service Association’s (NCSA) 1st Badminton Tournament concluded on November 3 at the Indoor Stadium, Kohima with Khrienuo C. Metha, NCS (retired) gracing the event as the special guest. The results of the tournament were as follows: Ilika Zhimomi and Tsenthungo E. Ngullie from Mon district won the mixed doubles title, while Kemeiyilie and Kelevituo Nisa from Dimapur district were 1st runners-up. Vikhweno M. Chale and Thejavizo Nakhro from Dimapur district were 2nd runners-up.
Nokchasashi and Vekushayi from Secretariat won the men’s doubles title, while Relise and Tsenthungo from Mon district finished 1st runners-up. Benjamin Longrap and Japeth Woch from Phek district were 2nd runners-up. The champions were awarded Rs. 10,000 with certificate, while the 1st and 2nd runners up were awarded Rs. 7000 and Rs. 5000, respectively, with certificates.
