Dimapur, June 20 (MExN): In support of the Nagaland Contractors’ and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) Head Office in regard to Government standing order for open tender system, the NCSU Dimapur in a press release has also cautioned all the concerned departments under Dimapur district to strictly follow the standing order while inviting tender for any contract or supply work.
The NCSU Head office in a press statement on June 15 called for strict compliance of open tender system and cancellation of work order in various departments without inviting open tender and NCSU identity card.
“Failing to comply with the government standing order, the responsibility shall be fixed to the erring official of the concerned department,” the NCSU Dimapur unit cautioned while adding that it will refer such matters to the head office for further necessary action.
The NCSU Dimapur unit also reminded all the departments to keep and maintain records of all contract and supply works – both past and ongoing projects – for ready reference. The union shall depute its action committee for verification, the union informed.
