NCSU Dmp supports head office

Kohima, March 4 (MExN): Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) Dimapur unit has firmly expressed support to NCSU head office’s resolution on misuse of writing pad by contractors and new registration and renewal of identity card to be recommended by district units. NCSU Dimapur unit in a press release cautioned its members not to let unregistered members use the writing pad of the union. The release appended by vice president, Hotoshe Chophy and press secretary, A Tureng asked its members to be vigilant and report the matter if any member violates the resolution.

It also cautioned the departments not to issue work order to unregistered NCSU members and without inviting open tender system which is against the government standing order. The Action Committee of the union will organize a visit to all the development departments to check and verify if any works have been allotted to unregistered NCSU members or whether open tender system is followed or not, the release said. The Union also asked all the registered members under Dimapur unit who are yet to renew their identity cards to do it at the earliest. The office will remain open on every Wednesday.
