NCSU for implementation of govt standing order

Dimapur, February 12 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union (NCSU) has acknowledged the Director General of Police, Kohima for responding in implementing the government standing order for inviting tender.  NCSU Secretary Imsunok Jamir in a press note stated that the union has requested many times to all department for observing the State government order for contract and supply works, “but inspite of repeated plea most of the department has turned a deaf ear.”
The Union added that the tender invitation publication no. PHS (D-I_ 16/11/12 dated Kohima the 3rd February 2011 by Director General of Police “is the first of its kind to openly publicize the state government standing order in the history of the Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union.”
While, extending cooperation to the Director General of Police, the NCSU has also appealed to all head of the departments to implement the government standing order as failure on the part of any concerned department to comply with the order, the NCSU is “on the lookout for strict compliance and firm action.”
