NCSU, KU express condolences

Kohima, June 22 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors’ and Suppliers Union (NCSU) and the Konyak Union have expressed deep sorrow at the passing of Shri Phanglou Chang, father of Nagaland’s Housing and Mechanical Minister, Shri Bashangmongsang Chang, who passed away on June 20 in Tuensang after a prolonged illness.

In separate condolence messages, both organisations described the late Phanglou Chang as a respected elder whose life embodied wisdom, humility and integrity.

The NCSU, in a message issued by its president Pele Khezhie and secretary Tali Sangtam, conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, stating that his demise was not only a personal loss to the Minister but also to the wider community. “In this time of grief, the NCSU stands in solidarity with Minister Bashangmongsang Chang and his family.

 May the Almighty grant them strength, comfort, and peace,” it stated.

Similarly, the Konyak Union in its message signed by president K. Yamao Konyak, extended condolences to the Minister and his family. “Our thoughts and prayers remain with you. May the departed soul find eternal rest, and may the Almighty grant the family strength and solace during this difficult time,” it stated.
