Dimapur, June 9 (MExN): In a memorandum addressed to the Minster of School Education Nagaland, the Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union (NCSU) head office Kohima stated that it has submitted a representation to Director (RMSA) to review the earlier advertisement which was published on May 22, 2011 in a local daily, for construction of various (GHS) under RMSA.
A press note issued by K.L Setuo Rutsa and John Kath, vice president and general secretary of NCSU respectively, stated that so many discrepancies were detected on that advertisement that a single contractor or firm will not be possible to carry out the work, as locations are scattered from one place to another.
The note mentioned that the Directorate Office failed to respond to the request, hence, NCSU requests the Minister School Education Nagaland to keep the said tender on abeyance till the matter is settled. The union also request authority to bring justice to everyone by breaking up the tender for respective GHS wise to enable the registered contactors to avail the opportunity to appreciate the tender. Failing which the union have no way out but to fight for justice for further necessary action.
