
Dimapur, August 29 (MExN): Expressing its widespread resentment against those departments awarding contract/supply works without open tender thereby sidelining the standing Government order, the NCSU Phek division has called for implementation the same in both “letter in spirit”
Maintaining that even after repeated reminders of Government’s memorandum, the department are flouting the same, Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU), Phek division called for immediate halting all such “illegal activities” and said that no contract/supply works should be awarded to any person without producing NCSU ID cards.
In a press statement, the division President Kuzhosheyi and Secretary Razou Lohe further said that it would henceforth check those departments not adhering to the government standing order and report such illegal practices to the Head Office "so that proper action could be initiated against defaulting departments."
This is as per the guidelines of the NCSU head office, it added.
Meanwhile, it also expressed gratitude to all the attendees of its general meeting on August 25 at G.A Rest House, Phek and the Deputy Commissioner, Phek Murohu Chotso for allotting same to the Contractors' fraternity.
The Phek Division further reiterated its full support to the NCSU Head Office under the leadership of Pele Khezhie.
