NCSU warn departments over evaluation reports

Dimapur, August 8 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union has asked all Government departments to furnish the list of awarding/allotting contract works to unregistered NCSU members, which was circulated to all departments since July 20, 2006 through its Action Committee. Failure to comply would invite an own course of action from the NCSU against those departments, it was warned.

“That despite time and again submitting representation or press releases regarding proper implementation of government memorandum Vide No.Bud/8-7/95-96 dated 4th October 1995, for awarding all types of Government contracts and supply works only to registered members of the NCSU. Hence the NCSU office has authorized the Action Committee to collect back the report latest by 20th August and submit to this office” asked the NCSU through its Vice President Ntsenthung Tungu and Secretary John Kath. The NCSU while appealing for cooperation warned that it would be forced to take its own course of action in the event the departments fail to comply with this information.
