NCSU Wokha extends support to LH, RH

Wokha, May 11 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union (NCSU) Wokha district Unit has expressed appreciation of the Lotha Hoho and Rengma Hoho for serving a 15 day ultimatum to the PWD (NH) Nagaland.  

The two Hohos, on May 8, served a 15 days deadline to Public works Department (NH) Nagaland to immediately start widening works of NH 2 (erstwhile NH 61) along Wokha and Tseminyu stretch.

 In a press a press release, the NCSU Wokha District Unit insisted that the road will serve the interest of all Nagas. “The NCSU Wokha District Unit strongly feel that widening works of NH 2, will serve the interest of not only of Lotha and Rengma people, but it will serve the interest of the people of Mokokchung district, Tuensang district and Kiphire and Longleng district also,” the union stated.  

“It will foster the growth of trade and commerce of the entire locality and it should be immediately taken upon priority basis,” it added.
