Meluri, August 2 (MExN): The NDPP 20th A/C Meluri has issued a rejoinder in response to reports of claims that several individuals from Phek District have joined the Indian National Congress (INC).
The NDPP 20th A/C Meluri media cell in a rejoinder said that certain individuals from the 20th A/C Meluri, namely Razuchi Chizo (Sl. No. 4) and Sepathi Nuwiry (Sl. No. 8), have claimed their affiliation with the NDPP formerly and now are joining the Indian National Congress (INC).
“However, it is to clarify once and for all that Razuchi Chizo and Sepathi Nuwiry were never members of the NDPP. They were previously members of the NPF, whose 21 MLAs merged with the NDPP in an attempt to secure party tickets but ultimately failed to do so.
Consequently, they contested the last 2023 State General Assembly election on a Lok Janshakti Party (RV) ticket. Thus, their affiliation with the NDPP does not arise at all,” it clarified. Therefore, the NDPP 20th A/C Meluri has appealed to all concerned to be cautious of these false claims and not be misled.
