Ghaspani, March 27 (MExN): NDPP 5 Ghaspani II AC coordination meeting for Lok Sabha Election 2024 was held at the private residence (Sovima) of Zhaleo Rio, IAS (Retd) MLA and Advisor on March 27. The meeting was attended by NDPP 5 Ghaspani II AC party functionaries, NDPP Village Unit representatives and Central Leaders of NDPP numbering about 200 party members, stated a press release issued by Media Cell NDPP, 5 Ghaspani II AC.
In his speech, Zhaleo appealed to party workers to give their best and share the party policies/programmes and achievements to the voters during the campaign. He stated that it is an opportunity for party men and women to exhibit their loyalty and dedication to the party by ensuring a resounding victory to the consensus candidate Dr Chumben Murry.
He added that party workers should not fall prey to the false promises and propagandas created by opposition candidates. He declared that the PDA candidate has the support of all the 60 MLAs and political parties including independent candidate who have declared to support the consensus candidate of PDA under Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister “by coming together as oppositionless Government for early resolution of the protracted Naga political issue/on-going ENPO issue and for overall development in the State.”
The meeting after thorough deliberation constituted Assembly Constituency Election Committee headed by Zhaleo Rio and Election Campaign Committee with Miathou Krose, Advisor CEB, NDPP as Campaign Director with Senior party leaders as Star Campaigners for effective and smooth election campaign.
