A thanksgiving service cum picnic of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 9th Kohima Town A/C was held at D. Khel Ground, Seikhazou, Kohima village.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire expressed gratitude to the electorates of 9th Kohima Town A/C for reposing their faith in his leadership and enable him to come victorious in the recently concluded state general election to 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly. Thanking the support and blessing of each and every individuals, he also look forward their continuous support for all round development.
Also speaking on the occasion, cabinet minister S. Pangnyu Phom congratulated Dr. Nicky for coming victorious. He said the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) government will rule for 5 years and take the developmental activities forward. He also requested the settlers of the state capital Kohima to be a good guardian and mirror of the Nagas. “We need your cooperation and guidance to run the government smoothly,” he said.
NDPP Nagaland vice president Menuovilie Kesiezie congratulated Dr. Nicky for winning 9th Kohima Town A/C seat and extended gratitude to the party workers and electorates for their hard work and allegiance to the leadership of Dr. Nicky. Cabinet ministers Neiba Kronu, Metsubo Jamir and Tongpang Ozukum and several other MLAs also present at the thanksgiving service.
The function was chaired by Tseivilie Miachie-o while vote of thanks was proposed by Zotuo Kire, president NDPP, 9th Kohima Town A/C.
