Kohima, May 22 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 18th Chozuba Assembly Constituency office bearers along with youth organisation, women organisation and agri & allied committee held a meeting on May 18 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. Mosonyi Domeh, President, NDPP Phek Region along with other office bearers from central and region offices attended the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Thüpukrayi Nienu, General Secretary (A/C) and started with a prayer by Rev Dr Vevo Phesao, Senior Pastor, Chakhesang Baptist Church, Minister’s Hill, Kohima. The meeting was addressed by Kudecho Khamo, party leaders and advisors.
In the form of resolution, the house appreciated the NDPP led government under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Neiba Kronu, Minister for Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs, who is the Minister in-charge of Phek district for bringing all round development and welfare activities.
The house resolved to fully support and endorse the resolution of the NDPP Phek region adopted on April 4, 2022 at Kohima wherein the enrolment of new members will be done on approval of the grassroots units and assembly office, among others.
The house also welcomed all those who have joined the party to support and strengthen the visions and principles of its leader Kudecho Khamo and further appreciated the contributions and sacrifices made by him in nurturing the party besides bringing development and taking care of the needy. Further, the house unanimously resolved to declare and extend its full support to Kudecho Khamo as its official candidate for the forth coming general elections. The house also resolved to work hard in unity with its new strategies and policies to ensure victory of its official candidate.
