Party’s 5 Ghaspani-II AC resolves to reorganise and strengthen party
Sovima, July 5 (MExN): MLA and Advisor, Sericulture, Excise & Minority Affairs, Nagaland Zhaleo Rio, on June 4 said that that the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) is “people friendly and inclined towards uplift of the common person through infrastructural development.”
The party will continue to bring positive and action oriented changes, he added, while addressing the coordination meeting of the executive officials of NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II Assembly Constituency held at his residence in Sovima.
As per a press release from the NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II A/C Media Secretary, Thejangukho Yalietsu, the Advisor also thanked the people and leaders for their constant support and trust upon him and urged the party officials to remain committed to “harvest bountiful fruits later.”
Charlie Sekhose, Senior Vice President (Central), also exhorted the gathering to enrol more primary as well as active party members who can someday, become strategic decision makers in the society, the release said. He further asserted that the NDPP growing in leaps and bounds.
He also informed that the Dimapur Region too will conduct a Sports week-cum Get-together for the different constituencies sometime later in the year.
Meanwhile, meeting resolved to reorganise and strengthen NDPP at all levels while welcoming anyone to the party fold and work to unite people for the welfare of Nagas in general.
It further decided to undertake exclusive effort for enrolment drive without delay.
Further, the house unanimously confirmed utmost support to Zhaleo, the lone-NDPP MLA from Dimapur Region in the forthcoming election and recommitted to support the party under the dynamic leadership of Neiphiu Rio and Chingwang Konyak, the release added.
