The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Kohima Region convened a consultative meeting on October 23.

KOHIMA, OCTOBER 23 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Kohima Region convened a consultative meeting on October 23 at its headquarters, with representatives from six assembly constituencies along with CEB Region in-charges.
During the meeting, Theyiekielie Tachü, CEB Region in-charge convenor, urged party members to prioritize the interests of the party and its leaders over personal agendas. He emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline among party workers and encouraged resolving internal issues rather than publicly criticizing party leaders, a press release stated.
NDPP Kohima Region President Prasielie Pienyü delivered the keynote address highlighting ongoing initiatives and encouraged assembly constituencies and their organizations to work together sincerely to strengthen the party’s presence.
Each assembly constituency shared their views, fostering an open dialogue. The meeting was chaired by Kechangulie Kense, with Vihu Meyase leading the invocation and Keduolhoulie Huozha offering the vote of thanks.
The gathering concluded with the adoption of three key resolutions- a commitment to rededicate efforts toward strengthening the party at all levels within the region, a call for enhanced collaboration and support among all party members, and a reaffirmation of faith in the leadership of party president Chingwang Konyak and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
