The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Mokokchung Region organised a felicitation programme for elected NDPP candidates in the recent NLA election, as well as the handing and taking programme of NDPP Mokokchung Region President on April 29.
The six NDPP elected Ao legislators are Sharingain Longkumer, Speaker, NLA; Metsübo, Minister RD & SIRD; Tongpang Ozüküm, Advisor, Water Resources; TN Manen, Advisor, Law & Justice, Land Revenue; Temjenmenba, Advisor, Transport & Technical Education; Imkongmar, Advisor, Minority Affairs & Sericulture; DAN Chairman, Dr Watizülu Süzümeren Jamir.
TN Manen, Temjenmenba and Imkongmar who attended the programme delivered short speeches.
In the same programme, the handing and taking of the President of NDPP Mokokchung Region took place, where Mangyangnungba, the newly elected president of NDPP Mokokchung Region, replaced N. Bendang Jamir outgoing NDPP Mokokchung Region President.
Members of the NDPP central office, the Mokokchung region office and members of the 10 Assembly Constituency and party workers attended the event.
