NDPP, others mourn demise of Tsensao Murry

Kohima, October 6 (MExN): The President and rank and file of the NDPP today expressed sadness on the demise of Tsensao Murry, father of Dr John Murry, Treasurer of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) on October 6 in Dimapur after a brief illness.


Born in 1925 at Lakhuti Village, Tsensao later migrated to Bhagti village where he was one of the first people to influence the Catholic movement in the region and was actively involved with church activities throughout his life, read a condolence message from Chingwang Konyak, President, NDPP.


“Tsensao was known for his dedication, hard work and honesty. He was a strong guiding force for others, especially the youth, in living disciplined, religious lives and inculcating the Christian belief.”


While sharing their sorrow with the family, the NDPP prayed that the Almighty grant eternal rest to the departed soul and lend solace to Dr John and his family during this time of loss.


The Deputy CM and BLP Leader, Y Patton also expressed grief on the demise. “A demise of an elderly senior citizen is a great loss for the Naga society,” stated a condolence from Media Cell, Deputy CM. At this time of grief and sorrow, Patton on behalf of the Nagaland BJP legislators shared deepest condolences to the beloved ones and prayed for the departed soul to find eternal solace.


In another condolence message, NSCN (R) Vice President Akato Chophi mourned the demise. The message stated Tsensao was 95 years and led a life well-lived. “During this time of grief, me and my family convey heartfelt condolences to my dear friend, Dr John Murry and family and pray for the departed soul to rest in peace.”
