Peren, July 11 (MExN): The NDPP Peren region has made an appeal to all to be more cautious and remain calm rather than “instigating and propagating false views and ideas, which may only hamper the progress of fight” against the Coronavirus.
“With the evidences and the increasing rate of positive case related to COVID-19, the party urges its people not to panic but be self prepared by following the protocols laid down,” NDPP Peren Region media cell stated in a press release.
While making an appeal to the returnees to understand the hardship faced by all the frontline workers, the party said that safety of the community and individual needs to be ensured by being disciplined. “Bombarding and lambasting all the minutes in no way stands to eradicate and resolve the existing problems,” it stated.
The party also reaffirmed to continue working for the common cause of the people ensuring the best could be done in order to contain the spread of the virus. It also discouraged “any unwanted activities” that has been occurring and asked all to forbear from any such activities violating the SOP.
Meanwhile, it reminded the JAC formed with various CSOs and churches leaders “not to go beyond one's own boundary” but continue the good work. It stated that “the attitude of branding the Government of the day as lackadaisical and terming the efficient as inefficient has brought more doubts in the minds of the people.”
The party further sought immediate intervention of the authorities concerned to initiate necessary steps against the two erring doctors as demanded.
