Dimapur, August 13 (MExN): A group of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Women organization functionaries called on the party president and PDA chairman, Chingwang Konyak at the latter’s office chamber on August 13.
The team was led by the organization president, Visevonuo (Bebi) and general secretary, Vikali A Zhimomi.
A press release from NDPP Media & Communication Committee stated that the visiting team put forward some fund generating proposals to be taken up by the Women organization aimed at building the NDPP Women organization towards self dependency.
The proposal was forwarded to the Chief Minister, the release said.
Besides the party president, NDPP treasurer & in-charge Women organization, Dr John Murry, vice president Lipok Pongen and general secretary attached to the NDPP president, TL Merry also participated in the discussion.
