Dimapur, February 12 (MExN): NDPP Central Youth Organization held an executive meeting at NDPP Central Headquarter, Chümoukedima on February 12.
The office bearers resolved to uphold and strengthen the policies and programmes of the PDA Government under the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and NDPP President and Chairman PDA, Chingwang Konyak within the Organization’s capacity; to reach out and create awareness for a plastic free environment in tune with the policy of the PDA Government in the entire state; to organize a touring programme of the regions and Assembly constituencies for further strengthening and coordination of the party.
NDPP Youth Organization, Media and Communication Committee in a press release, stated that Secretary General Abu Metha exhorted the youth leaders by highlighting various programmes and achievements of the PDA Government. Metha reminded that NDPP was a Regional party but was National in outlook and understands the dynamics of global concerns. He also encouraged and appealed the youth leaders to be agents of change and adhere to the party’s principles of good governance with transparency and accountability to the people.
