Kohima, February 10 (MExN): The Advisor to Chief Minister of Nagaland and President of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has been conferred the rank and status of Cabinet Minister with “immediate effect.” “The Governor of Nagaland is pleased to confer upon Shri Chingwang Konyak, Advisor to Chief Minister, Nagaland, the rank and status of Cabinet Minister with immediate effect,” stated a notification issued by State Cabinet Secretary on February 10. Chingwang was re-elected as the president of NDPP for the tenure 2021-2024 in November 2021.
