NDPP’s Temjenmenba for positive change

Mokokchung, Fberuary 14 (MExN): Temjenmenba, the candidate for the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) in 29 Jangpetkong Assembly Constituency, launched his election campaign on February 14. According to a press release, from his media cell, his campaign trail for the day covered 5 villages— Chungliyimsen, Mongchen, Dibuia, Alongkima, and Warumong, where he also formally declared his candidature. 

The release said that his electoral agenda focused on bringing developmental changes in the constituency. He pointed out that Jangpetkong was one of the most underdeveloped regions in the state and promised to work towards bringing positive change in the area. He also pledged to ensure that developmental activities are implemented at the grassroots level.

Furthermore, Temjenmenba promised to fight to safeguard the unity of Jangpetkong in the event of any delimitation issues that may arise in the future. He appealed for a peaceful election and criticized leaders who promote enmity and hatred for personal gain. He also expressed gratitude to the NDPP leadership for nominating him, while committing to serving the people of Jangpetkong on a larger platform.
