Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): The Arunachal Pradesh government, in partnership with the Film Federation of Arunachal (FFA) is organising its maiden Northeast Film Festival 2016 at Itanagar on February 17 to 20, a press release from the Dimapur Press Club informed.
With its mandate of saluting talent and nurturing passion, the event seeks to create a space where filmmakers from the 8 states can meet and engage with each other their stories, films and art.
Towards this end, a press conference is being called in Dimapur on Thursday, January 21 at 10 a.m. in the Conference Hall of Hotel Lake Shilloi. It will be addressed by Sonam Chombay, Secretary, IPR, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh, and the Director, IPR CM Longphong.
