Guwahati, February 5 (MExN): The North East will get its first 24x7 English satellite news channel on Tuesday, February 6 with the launch of Northeast Live. A venture of Pride East Entertainments Private Limited, the channel will be launched by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in the presence of Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Chowna Mein and a host of dignitaries from across the region. The Channel will be available on all major service providers like Tata Sky (Channel No 1971), Airtel (Channel No 645) and local cable networks. Northeast Live has also appointed correspondents and video journalists in all the northeastern states in a bid to provide real-time developments in their respective states.
