
Kohima, October 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Education Association (NEA) will be holding its annual general body meeting on October 8 from 11:00 am at Ura College of Teacher Education, Kohima. The major agendas to be deliberated include issues related to Nagaland State Education policies and the forthcoming National Education Day to be observed on November 11. A general election of the new team will also be held, stated a press release from NEA. All the members including persons with diploma in education - D.El.Ed, bachelor's degree - B.Ed, master's degree/post graduate degree - MA in Education/M.Ed, M.Phil in Education and PhD in Education are the eligible primary members of the Association. Those persons with no degree or diploma in Education but having worked in the field of Education, in schools, colleges, universities or any educational institution are eligible Associate Members of the Association. Both the Primary Members and the Associate Members shall have the equal rights of participation in the deliberation and voting, it stated. NEA has invited each and every individual member concerned to attend.
