Guwahati, April 11 (DIPR): Organised by North Eastern Council (NEC), and Sreemanta Shankar Mission of Guwahati, “Vasundahara – NE Entrepreneur of the Year” (2014-15) award presentation fundction was held on April 8 at the Pragjyoti ITA Centre for Performing Arts, Machhkhowa, Guwahati. Natwar Thakkar, prominent Gandian and Founder of Nagaland Gandhi Ashram, was conferred with ‘PurvottarPran’ award on the occasion for his contribution to development of the North East. Ram Muivah, Secretary, NEC was the Chief Guest in the programme. Speaking on the occasion, Muivah focused on NEC’s commitments for promoting women entrepreneurship in the North East through its flagship programme ‘NERCORMP’. He also narrated success stories of Women Entrepreneurs supported by NERCORMP and NERLP, another successful organization of Ministry of DoNER functioning in the North East.
