Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): The North East Christian University (NECU) organised an interaction programme titled “Bridging Borders: Nursing Careers in Germany” to explore international career opportunities for nursing students with potential employers from Germany.

The session, which brought together students, parents, and faculty, aimed to facilitate an open discussion on global nursing careers. In his address, Pro Chancellor Prof Dr Darlando Khathing reaffirmed the university's commitment to creating “genuine pathways” for students to enter the international job market.

Er Kapil Thapa, Director of PM&HR, encouraged attendees to think globally, stating, “Your degrees are like wings. If you only fly in circles close to home, you will never know how vast the sky really is. Nursing is a profession without borders, and this program is about helping you use your skills to explore the world, not just one place.”

The programme addressed concerns regarding migration, such as cultural adjustment, language barriers, and safety. Assurances were provided on structured training and support systems for students settling abroad.

The event concluded with a live Q&A session. Interested students and professionals can register for the initiative by emailing admissions@necu.ac.in or messaging +91 8131062849 for details.
