Kohima, March 5 (MExN): The general conference-cum-general body meeting of the Nagaland Election Department Employees Association (NEDEA) was held on March 3 at Hotel Japfü, Kohima.
Special guest for the conference, Abhijit Sinha, Chief Electoral Officer emphasized on the uniqueness of the Election Department and exhorted the association to give importance in their service matters and overall welfare of the department.
He advised all to maintain integrity and sincerity in discharging office duties. N Moa Aier, Additional Chief Electoral Officer shared words of encouragement and stressed on the need to know and update on skills, rules and office procedures for effective working system and functioning of the office.
A press release from NEDEA President, R Mhathung also informed that a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2020 to 2022 was formed with Alila Chang as President, R Toshi Aier as Vice President, Roland Merry as General Secretary as two other members.
