NEEC JDU, Nagaland unit ‘relieved’ by resignation of RCP Singh

Guwahati, August 8 (MExN): The North East Executive Council (NEEC) JDU and JDU Unit of Nagaland have welcomed the resignation of RCP Singh, former Union Minster and former National President of JDU from the primary membership of JDU.

NEEC Chairman, Senchumo NSN Lotha in a press release stated that RCP Singh “used his wisdom finally, to resign from the party because sooner or later, he would have been exposed and will face disciplinary action leading to expulsion from the party.”

It stated that “JDU has absolutely nothing to lose by the resignation of the likes of RCP Singh who is a sycophant and a person riddled with egoism and attitude issue.” Any political party welcoming the kind of RCP Singh will be only a liability for which the NEEC is so much relieved because of his resignation, it stated.

The JDU Unit of Nagaland stated that “RCP Singh has been very destructive to the party from within at the behest of external forces from outside. His mind and soul was never with the party as his action showed.”

‘RCP Singh did not take up any program or made any strategy for the promotion of the JDU while being Union Minister and National President of JDU,’ stated a press release issued by Kitoho S Rotokha, General Secretary, JDU, Nagaland.

It stated that RCP Singh “never even thought of visiting the State of Nagaland while being the National President and Union Minister despite repeated invitations.” His resignation is a big blessing in  disguise for the JDU, it added.
