NEET-UG exam postponed for  examination centres in Manipur

DIMAPUR, MAY 6 (MExN): The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday announced that NEET-UG examination which was scheduled for Sunday has been postponed in Manipur in view of the law and order situation.  The candidates who were allotted examination centres in Manipur and their exam will be held at a later date, it stated.  MoS Education & BJP MP from Manipur Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh had written to NTA (National Testing Agency), requesting them to "explore the possibility of rescheduling" the exam, in the wake of the situation in Manipur. "...I had requested them to postpone the exam, in the current situation. New date of exam will be fixed. 5751 candidates were scheduled to appear at the two centres in Manipur."
