New Delhi, March 9 (MExN): Minister, Planning & Co-ordination and Land Revenue, Government of Nagaland Neiba Kronu, accompanied by Nosazol Charles, Additional Development Commissioner paid a courtesy call on the new Secretary, DoNER Dr Inderjit Singh, IAS and Joint Secretary Saurabh Endley on March 6 in the official chamber of the Secretary.
While congratulating the new Secretary on his taking over the Ministry of DoNER, Kronu requested the new Secretary to continue to support the region to come up with the rest of the country. He also assured the Secretary his full support in carrying out development activities in the state of Nagaland.
The Secretary assured his full support in bringing development activities to a reality. He further assured to expedite the retained projects under NESIDS which is 100% funding by the Government of India and asked the State Government to move fast in submitting the required documents.
Earlier, Kronu met Radhey Shyam Julaniya, IAS who also recently took over as Secretary, Sports in the Ministry of Youth & Sports Affairs, GoI, stated a press release from Thomas Thailu, Officer on Special Duty, Planning & Co-ordination Department, GoN, New Delhi. He requested the Secretary to support for more infrastructure schemes for the state of Nagaland stating that youth of the state has lots of potentials once the facilities are provided, and that the youth can excel and show mark in the field of sports, which will be a positive boost for the interest of the Nation in general and the Nagas in particular.
