Neiba Kronu graces Khezha area sports meet at Pfutsero

Kohima | January 10 : State Planning Board (SPB) deputy chairman Neiba Kronu today inaugurated the 34th meet 2011 of Khezha Area Games & Sports Association (KAGSA) at Pfutsero Local Ground under the theme” Strive towards victory.” Speaking on the occasion, Kronu termed football as the most important games in the world.
He also advocated that to be a good/great sportspersons, one need to build our economy. He also advised the players and elder people not be the influence by intoxicated things. Well being of games and sports brings good disciplines, he added.
Earlier, Kronu unfurled the Association flag and declare the tournament opened after lighting the tournament torch. KAGSA president Kezuwelhi Kapfo delivered presidential address while games and sports secretary Neiwetso Kapfo administered oath to the 7 participating villages under the jurisdiction of KAGSA. Kronu was accompanied by his lady wife Lanula, K. Kapfo IG Prison (Retd), Rev. Z. Mero and several others. The tournament will go on till January 15 with Phek deputy commissioner Mikha Lomi as the guest of honour at the closing function.
