Neichute Doulo, the Founder & CEO of the Entrepreneurs Associates, was conferred the 2nd Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) Annual Alumni Excellence Award on March 25.
Doulo, the pioneering entrepreneurship advocate from Nagaland, belongs to the Patkai Class of 1994, and studied economics at the college.
He was chosen in recognition of “Entrepreneurial Leadership towards building a self-reliant economy in Nagaland and the North-East,” the award citation reads.
PCC Emeritus and Founding Principal, Rev Dr Tuisem A Shishak gave the award on the 2nd PCC ‘Tuisem A Shishak Annual Lecture’s’ at Bundrock Chapel auditorium.
Accepting the award, Duolo acknowledged his alma mater for moulding his life and helping him improve himself.
He also recalled how as a Pre-University (Higher Secondary then) students in 1992, he came across Frank Buchman’s “As I am, so is my Nation” and how it continue to guide his outlook of life.
Among others, Doulo is a Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 awardee, a Schwab and Ashoka Fellow and member of the NITI Aayog.
The Annual Alumni Excellence Award was instituted by the Alumni Association PCC in 2022 to recognise the contributions made former students in various fields.
